4/8/2017 0 Comments LCS League of LegendsI personally like watching the EU LCS (I like the casters, and it is at a better time for me). I like watching the LCS because I like to learn about what the pros are doing, now that doesn't mean I will take everything they are doing into solo que because being a pro group is very different from being solo/duo but it there are of course things that I can and like to learn. It is observational learning, and watching/doing is how I learn best (reading them doesn't translate over nicely for me). This is the only sport I watch because it is the only one I play, I get bored very quickly of watching more traditional sports because I don't play them, and I have no drive to play them. Chasing a ball around is just not really my thing *shrugs* (or any other objects like a puck).
Being able to be a deadly Sylvari is (gaming cross over Zyra is pretty much a Guild Wars 2 Sylvari). What I like about the EU casters is their hype and their insight, sometimes I feel like with other regions it isn't as even of a mix with the caster. With NA it feels more like it is about they hype, with a lot of the Asian regions it is all about the insight. I feel like EU LCS falls somewhere in the middle of that and that is where I like to be. I want to be hyped about the games but I also want to understand why they are doing the things they do, and how little micro decisions can truly impact the games. Most of the things I watch are to learn something from (this is why I love the history channel, and some science/travel shows too), and I feel like I get a pretty healthy dose of observational learning from watching the pros and from the analysis the caster bring!
